Hello there! I'm new here on NekoWeb, and I found you by searching for "Macintosh" on Explore. What you may guess about me from my Username is, a) I'm a fan of Macintosh Computers, b) I'm a fan of the former magazine I share a moniker with, and c) I'm old-ish. What you may not guess is that I first browsed your site using AquaFox 3.1 in glorious 1024x768 on my fully kitted out 2005 12-inch iBook G4 (A1133), 1.33GHz PowerPC 7447, 1.5GB DDR, 1TB mSATA SSD, running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (haven't gotten around to upgrading to Shuriken yet, but it's on my list). Unfortunately I couldn't sign the guestbook in AquaFox. Clicking the button changes it to "Sending," and stays there for some time, then my fan spools up to 100%, the dialogue appears saying that the script is unresponsive, and nothing happens after multiple times clicking "continue," or refreshing the page and trying again. I guess there's practical limits to all things, but it was still neat to make the attempt. Thanks for that. I hope you'll come on over and check out my page in a bit when I get things up and running. Thank you for this new browser, it works fine. Only the performance concerning videos could be better. I am sitting here with a Powerbook G4, Mac OS 10.4.11, 1GB RAM. Would it make sense to add another GB ? I could not find you Email adress, I hope you dont mind, that I used your guestbook...

More RAM is always a good idea to improve system performance. However, if it will make a difference with video playback I cannot say. Modern Youtube isn't feasable on my G5 and I have to use invidious/yt2009. Modern codecs are really hard on these old machines. I take it you have installed the MP4 Enabler?

The AquaFox browser is a game changer for PowerPC Macs. It really brings a level of web functionality to these older machines that I didn't expect to see again. It’s refreshing to see someone working to keep these vintage Macs alive in such a meaningful way.
